TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE BELOW APPLIES TO ALL TICKETS TO BLACKPOOL PRIDE FESTIVAL PURCHASED VIA GIGANTIC OR ANY OTHER OFFICIAL WRISTBAND OUTLET. 

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND UPDATED AT ANY TIME. ALTHOUGH YOU MAY BE INFORMED OF ANY CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF THESE TAKE PLACE AFTER YOUR PURCHASE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TICKET HOLDER TO CHECK THESE TERMS AND CONTACT US IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH ANY OF THE TERMS OUTLINED BELOW. THE POSSESSION OF THIS TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE CURRENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS DETAILED BELOW AND IMPLY AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO OBSERVE THEM.

Thank you for purchasing a ticket to the Blackpool Pride Festival. Please observe the following Terms & Conditions relating to your ticket and entry into the events.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Blackpool Pride Festival does not have an age restrictions and customers of all ages are welcome. However, there may be some activity which may be restricted to over 18s and ID checks will be carried out. We only accept a valid in date passport, driving licence or National proof of age ID card that displays the PASS hologram. 

Printed tickets must be scanned and exchanged for official Blackpool Pride wristbands on entering the site. 

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).

PROGRAMME

Your ticket is for the event and not to see a specific artist or group. Your wristband is to facilitate access into the festival arena only. 

Blackpool Pride Festival reserves the right to change the programme or running times without prior notice.

CAPACITIES

There are agreed safe capacities in the main event arena. Once these are reached, there will be no further admissions and entry may become a 1 in 1 out system. This is to ensure the safety of all visitors and this supports our crowd management plan which has been agreed via the Safety Advisory Group and responsible authorities. 

We cannot guarantee you will be granted access at any particular time or to see a particular artist once the arena reaches full capacity. 

We reserve the right to refuse admission to the holder if, in the reasonable opinion of the organiser, the admission of the holder might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the event, for example, if the holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively and/or we have reached capacities within the event space.

LAST ENTRY

Last entry will be at 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.

SEARCHES AND BAG POLICY

Everyone will be subject to search on entry to the main arena. Please cooperate with stewards who are conducting searches for your safety.

Before entering, detailed searches of clothing and bags will be carried out. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the event and may be handed to the Police. See below list of prohibited items.

We would advise you only bring a bag if you deem it imperative.

We also reserve the right to search whilst inside the event arena. Please assist our security teams by cooperating with all instructions. If customers refuse to be searched, they will be refused entry and refunds will not be issued.

Blackpool Pride Festival reserves the right to refuse admission to the event for any reason including but not limited to customers being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and/or acting aggressively.

GENERAL TICKET TERMS

Time(s) day(s) and date(s) of the event may be subject to change.

We may have a limited number of weekend and day tickets available each day. Once weekend tickets have sold out, an allocation of day tickets may still be available to purchase or vice versa.

Babes in arms aged 2 and under do not require a ticket. Children under the age of 11 are free but still require a ticket. Those aged 11-17 are required to purchase a ticket for £3 via Gigantic.com. 

The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the event.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Tickets can only be refunded if the event does not take place.

Please keep your ticket safe, under no circumstances will replacement wristbands be issued if they are lost.  Tickets must be exchanged for an official wristband and must be visible at all times.

Tickets for Blackpool Pride Festival should only be bought from authorised agents and not street sellers as you may be purchasing an invalid ticket. Reselling this ticket for profit or commercial gain will render it void.

No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without the prior permission from Blackpool Pride Festival. This includes official Blackpool Pride Festival sponsors and media partners.

Tickets, Wristbands and all other accreditation remain the property of Blackpool Pride Festival and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Blackpool Pride Festival reserves the right to eject or refuse entry to any persons not wearing official accreditation from the event. Any individual acting in a manner deemed inappropriate by management inside an event area may be asked to leave.

FILMING

CCTV is in operation at the event.

Ticket holders consent to the photography, filming/sound recording of the event as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish Blackpool Pride Festival to use your picture, please inform the photographer. The events will be filmed and recorded. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience.

CHALLENGE 25

Blackpool Pride Festival operates a Challenge 25 Policy. You may be required to present proof of ID on entry and we only accept a valid in date passport, driving licence or national proof of age ID card that displays the PASS hologram.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Strictly no illegal substances are permitted within the event areas. There is a strict ZERO tolerance drugs policy.

No alcohol or glass to be brought into the event areas.

It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces.

Blackpool Pride Festival reserves the right to refuse admission and confiscate any item which may not be suitable at the event as well as a danger to others or the venue when entering. See the prohibited items list below.

There may be exceptions offered for our accessibility customers which will be communicated separately.

Blackpool Pride Festival reserve the right to prohibit any item or goods within our venues, including, but not limited to:

    • Any other articles which may be a danger to the public or cause nuisance
    • Any alcohol
    • Excessive amounts of cigarettes i.e. more than for personal consumption
    • Glass bottles, jars or containers
    • Chinese lanterns or sky lanterns
    • Illegal substances
    • Unidentifiable substances
    • Nitrous oxide & associated equipment (balloons, CO2 dispensers, cream dispensers)
    • Legal highs, New psychoactive substances (NPS) or equipment associated with NPS.
    • Portable laser equipment and laser pens
    • Fireworks / pyrotechnics
    • Flares / distress flares
    • Any goods for unauthorised trading
    • Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon.
    • Any items which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person.
    • Airhorns & megaphones
    • Spray cans
    • Oversized lighters
    • Catapults
    • Drones
    • Sound Systems
    • Animals other than guide dogs or hearing dogs
    • Firearms
    • Explosives

DRONES

Any unmanned aircraft/drone, or radio controls of any size or type, will not be allowed into the event area as a condition of the ticket sale agreement. This is also the policy to any event area where no ticket is required by the public to attend such as queuing areas. If such a device, or controls for such a device, are found then the organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and if necessary pass details to the police.

COMPLAINTS AND FEEDBACK

If you wish to send a complaint or feedback, please email info@blackpoolpride.org and quote your booking reference number. We will aim to respond to complaints within 28 days, with a further 28-day extension added if a more in-depth investigation is required. The deadline for complaints received regarding Blackpool Pride Festival is 30th June each year following the event.
