We are a B&B with a public bar, situated in the heart of the gay district in Blackpool. Officially open late May 2023 following a tasteful refurbishment.

A new LGBTQIA+ Venue for Blackpool!

Rendezvous bar will provide a cosy and friendly environment to meet friends for afternoon drinks as well as a great place to start your night out in Blackpool!

We are ideally situated directly behind Funny Girls and just a short walk from all of the LGBTQIA+ venues Blackpool has to offer in addition to the many excellent Restaurants, Theatres and other tourist attractions.

To gain entry to the bar, please ring the bell inside the entrance hallway and we will be delighted to welcome you. Please note that those who are intoxicated will not gain entry and if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 we will ask for valid ID to prove that you are 18 or over (Challenge 25 policy). This is to ensure that all guests are able to have an enjoyable visit and is also a condition of our license.

The Rooms

We are Lee and Chris Taylor-Hone, and we purchased Rendezvous Bar & Rooms (then known as Granby Lodge) in the Summer of 2022. The B&B has been part of the Blackpool gay scene since the 1990s and Geoff and Brian, the prior owners of Granby are great friends of ours. It is our intention to develop and build upon the great business they operated for almost 25 years!

We have lived in Blackpool since December 2020 and have enjoyed owning and operating Lee & Chris’s Belvedere on Dickson Road since then.

The bedrooms will be modern and comfortable, with a great breakfast provided (if required) each morning.
